Job Description

Are you an experienced professional with a strong understanding of government procurement and public-sector project management? An opportunity is available for a Senior Project Executive to drive IT project opportunities within government ministries, departments, and agencies, ensuring projects progress from identification to approval and successful award. The ideal candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management skills, strategic relationship-building abilities, and experience navigating Nigerian government processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive identified IT project opportunities through the appropriate government approval and procurement channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, procurement officers, and key stakeholders.
• Follow up consistently with ministries, agencies, and parastatals to ensure timely project approvals and awards.
• Collaborate with internal technical and business teams to provide required documentation and support for project execution.
• Identify and resolve obstacles that may delay project approvals through strategic engagement.
• Monitor government procurement trends, policies, and upcoming IT opportunities.
• Represent the organization professionally while positioning its IT solutions within the public sector.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project updates for relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in government sales, business development, liaison, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian government procurement procedures and public-sector operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple government engagements simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with IT government projects or public-sector technology initiatives will be an added advantage.
• Existing professional network within government agencies in Abuja is preferred.
• Familiarity with e-Government initiatives and public procurement regulations is desirable.

Salary & Benefits

• Annual salary between ₦4,000,000 and ₦5,000,000.
• Performance-based incentives.
