Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, networking, and industry events.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding customer needs, business challenges, and decision-making processes.
  • Schedule qualified meetings and discovery calls for Account Executives to help build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospect interactions, and pipeline updates using Salesforce CRM.
  • Conduct account research, territory planning, and persona mapping to improve prospecting effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and channel teams to improve lead generation and qualification strategies.
  • Stay informed about cybersecurity trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to better engage prospects.
  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly activity and opportunity generation targets while providing regular performance reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative.
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity, enterprise software, SaaS, or a related technology industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales and lead generation targets.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with prospective customers and confidently communicate product value.
  • Excellent prospecting, qualification, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, coachable, and eager to continuously develop sales and product knowledge.
