Job Description

A qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (ACA) is needed to join its finance team in the Building Materials/Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, performing reconciliations, managing inventory accounting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and management accounts as required.
• Perform regular bank, ledger, and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory accounting and ensure accurate recording and valuation of stock.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.
• Support financial analysis, budgeting, and other finance-related activities.
• Identify financial discrepancies and provide appropriate solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for internal and external audit processes.

Requirements

• ACA/ICAN certification is mandatory.
• Freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in the Building Materials, Construction, Manufacturing, or Product-Based industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in accounting ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
