Job Description

An experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is sought to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the organization’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, risk management, and supporting long-term business growth through sound financial strategies and effective leadership of the finance team.

Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and statutory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Strengthen internal controls and implement measures to minimize financial risks and errors.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization and business growth.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulatory agencies, tax consultants, and financial institutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA, or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
