Chief Security Officer (CSO)
Job Description
A firm is looking to hire a highly experienced and professional Chief Security Officer (CSO) to join our organisation in Lagos. The ideal candidate must currently be working as an experienced Security Supervisor with one of Nigeria’s top-tier security companies and have a proven track record in corporate security operations.
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Age: Not above age 45
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise security operations within the organisation.
- Be stationed primarily at the reception, managing access and visitor movement.
- Professionally receive and coordinate visiting guests.
- Conduct regular rounds within the premises to ensure safety and smooth operations.
- Monitor and identify security risks, suspicious activities, and potential threats.
- Protect company personnel, property, assets, and overall interests.
- Maintain proper security and visitor records.
- Liaise with Management, HR, and other relevant departments on security matters.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ security experience
- Current/previous Security Supervisor experience with a reputable security company
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Professional, disciplined, alert, and well-groomed
- Strong integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment
- Experience in a corporate environment is an advantage.
