Job Description

A leading rig services company operating an integrated drilling fleet across upstream operations in Nigeria is looking to hire a Driller who will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment and supervision of the drilling crew during well construction — maintaining well control and supporting safe, cost-effective well operations.

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Key Responsibilities

• Operate draw-works, rotary, top drive, mud pumps, and associated equipment
• Execute drilling, tripping, casing, cementing, completion operations
• Maintain primary well control; respond to well control situations
• Supervise rig floor crew; conduct pre-job equipment checks
• Maintain drilling logs, connection times, operational reports

Key Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
• 8+ years rig experience, 3-5 years as Assistant Driller or Driller
• Valid IWCF/IADC Well Control Certificate (Driller Level) — mandatory
• Offshore Survival Certification (BOSIET/FOET)
• HSE training/certification preferred
