Job Description

A firm is seeking a technically competent and hands-on Electrical & Energy Storage Support Officer to support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, solar PV, battery energy storage and backup power systems.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and setup of energy storage systems.
  • Electrical wiring, cabling and cable termination.
  • Testing using multimeters, clamp meters and other tools.
  • Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Supporting solar PV and backup power systems.
  • Maintaining maintenance, testing and commissioning records.
  • Strict adherence to HSE and electrical safety standards

 

Key Requirements

  • OND/HND/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or related field.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, solar PV and/or backup power systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and power electronics.
  • Ability to use electrical tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with lithium batteries, particularly at cell level, is highly desirable.
  • Good attention to detail and physical fitness
