Linguistic Quality Assurance Tester
Job Description
As a Freelance LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) tester, you’ll help ensure the linguistic quality and overall player experience of localized games. You’ll review content in-game, identify linguistic and localization issues, and report and track bugs throughout the testing process. This is a freelance opportunity. Assignments, schedules, and work arrangements will depend on each project’s requirements and your availability.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in localization QA, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Native-level fluency in the target language.
- Strong English skills to understand instructions, write bug reports, and communicate with the project team.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools.
- Ability to follow testing procedures and meet agreed deadlines.
- A passion for video games and familiarity with gaming terminology and culture.
