Job Description

An engineering consultancy is seeking a skilled LinkedIn Marketing and Talent Specialist to lead their LinkedIn strategy, combining marketing and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will create engaging content for technical audiences, manage company and executive profiles, and support talent acquisition and business development initiatives. This role offers creative freedom to develop campaigns that highlight technical expertise while maintaining professional credibility in the engineering sector.

Location: Remote (Australian business hours)
Schedule: Flexible, 20 hours per week (AEST)
Type: Independent Contractor, Permanent Work From Home

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize both executive personal LinkedIn profiles and the company LinkedIn page
  • Develop and execute LinkedIn marketing campaigns and content strategies tailored to engineering professionals
  • Create graphics, visual content, and posts to engage professional audiences
  • Conduct targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns and identify potential recruitment candidates
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build professional community relationships
  • Generate performance reports including engagement, lead generation, and campaign metrics

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with LinkedIn marketing and B2B social media management (portfolio required)
  • Strong understanding of professional services marketing, especially in technical industries
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for marketing and recruitment purposes
  • Basic graphic design skills for visual content creation
  • Excellent written communication skills tailored to engineering and professional audiences
  • Experience in social media analytics, reporting, and performance measurement
  • Bonus: prior recruitment or talent acquisition experience via LinkedIn
  • Familiarity with engineering or construction industries is advantageous
