Network Support Engineer

A reputable organization in Lagos is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide proactive network support, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients while maintaining high operational standards.

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire service request lifecycle, including logging, tracking, and resolving service requests efficiently.
2. Proactively monitor ipNX-owned and installed network elements at corporate clients’ premises to identify and resolve issues promptly.
3. Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve customer issues within contracted SLAs, escalating when necessary.
4. Prepare and deliver accurate service performance reports to inform stakeholders of achieved service levels and areas for improvement.
5. Update and follow up on unresolved tickets daily, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with responsible units.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical-Electronics Engineering (minimum of Second Class Lower or Upper Credit).
• CCNA and CCNP certifications (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IP network design and telecommunications.
• Proficiency in IP Routing, MPLS, QoS, VPN, and network security (e.g., IPSec Firewalls).
• Experience with Wireless Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint technologies is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
