Job Description

A reputable fashion company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee garment production from planning to delivery. The ideal candidate will manage production teams, monitor quality standards, coordinate production schedules, and ensure all client orders are completed accurately and delivered on time while maintaining an efficient workflow.

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily garment production activities.
  • Manage tailors, finishing staff, and production teams to ensure efficiency and accountability.
  • Develop and monitor production schedules to meet agreed delivery timelines.
  • Ensure garments meet approved designs, client measurements, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with procurement and quality control teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor urgent and regular production orders without disrupting workflow.
  • Minimize production delays, wastage, and rework through effective planning and supervision.
  • Track production progress using CRM systems and production management tools.

Requirements
  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar garment production role.
  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, tailoring processes, quality control, and finishing.
  • Experience managing production teams, including tailors and finishing staff.
  • Ability to develop production schedules and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or production tracking software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to production quality.
Salary

₦300,000 per month (Gross)
