Job Description
Bell Oil and Gas Limited is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer – Valves to support business growth within the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting valve products and services, developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical solutions to clients across IOCs, EPC companies, refineries, and other industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and provide technical support for valve products and related services to clients.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable valve solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including IOCs, EPC companies, refineries, and E&P operators.
- Prospect for new business opportunities and acquire high-value customers within target markets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations, proposals, and technical solutions to prospective clients.
- Gather market intelligence and industry insights to support contract bids, tenders, and upcoming projects.
- Develop customer engagement strategies and account management plans for different client segments.
- Generate and manage work orders, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure sales targets are achieved and client satisfaction is maintained.
- Follow up on payments, reconcile customer accounts, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare regular business development reports and provide updates on sales activities and progress.
- Collect and communicate relevant business intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant sales engineering experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical understanding of valve products and services.
- Experience working with or selling to IOCs, refineries, marginal field operators, EPC companies, and E&P organizations.
- Excellent business development, prospecting, and relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas industry and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, advise clients, and secure new business.
- Demonstrated experience in account management and achieving sales targets.
- Strong intelligence gathering and market research skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to actively prospect for business opportunities within and around the Lekki Free Zone axis.
- Experience in the non-oil and gas industrial sector will be an added advantage.
