Job Description

SIMS Nigeria Limited is recruiting a qualified and customer-oriented Service Center Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of its service center in Rivers State. This role is ideal for professionals with strong leadership, customer service, and operational management skills who can ensure efficient after-sales support, inventory control, and excellent service delivery. The successful candidate will coordinate service center activities, supervise staff, and maintain high operational standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily operations of the service center to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Lead, coach, and monitor service center staff to achieve operational and customer service targets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, warranty claims, repairs, and product replacements professionally.
  • Coordinate the receipt, inspection, repair, replacement, and dispatch of customer products.
  • Monitor service turnaround times and ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair requests, warranty transactions, and service activities.
  • Oversee inventory management for spare parts, accessories, and service center stock while conducting regular stock reconciliations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, tracking key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, productivity, and service quality.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, Technical Support, and Head Office to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, warranty procedures, operational guidelines, and workplace safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall customer experience.
Job Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in service center operations, customer service, retail operations, or after-sales support.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and complaint resolution abilities.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management and operational reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant business systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in the electronics, home appliances, telecommunications, or consumer goods industry will be an added advantage.
