Job Description

A fast-growing finance and technology company is seeking a talented Software Developer to join its engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving scalable backend systems and modern web applications that support core digital products and services.

This role is ideal for a proactive developer who enjoys solving technical challenges, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend APIs and software services.
  • Build responsive and high-performing web applications using React and related frontend technologies.
  • Design and implement new product features from concept to deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented production-grade code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across backend and frontend systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Support CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, and system optimization initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for APIs, systems, and development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer or Full Stack Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of backend development and API architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development tools.
  • Familiarity with databases, version control systems, and cloud-based deployment environments.
  • Understanding of software development best practices, testing, and debugging techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
