Job Description

Integrated Dairies Limited is recruiting a qualified Tax / Treasury Specialist to manage tax compliance, treasury operations, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting. This position is ideal for finance professionals with strong analytical skills and experience in taxation, treasury management, and financial accounting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting the organization’s financial stability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage statutory tax computations and timely remittances, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSITF, ITF, pension, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations, support tax planning initiatives, and maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
  • Prepare tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and support tax audits by liaising with tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Oversee daily treasury activities, including cash management, payment processing, liquidity forecasting, and banking relationships.
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and support treasury risk management activities.
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register, ensuring accurate capitalization, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliation with the general ledger.
  • Coordinate periodic physical verification of company assets and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage intangible assets, right-of-use assets, and amortization schedules in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for foreign bank accounts and loan accounts.
  • Support management reporting and carry out other financial accounting duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in tax, treasury, or financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and preparation of financial statements.
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting principles, including IFRS or GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
  • Familiarity with statutory remittance processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
