Job Description

A leading rig services company operating an integrated drilling fleet across upstream operations in Nigeria is looking to hire a Toolpusher to provide oversight on daily rig operations, ensuring efficient and safe execution of drilling activities in line with approved drilling programs, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily rig activities: drilling, casing, tripping, rig-up/rig-down
• Supervise and mentor drill crew/rig floor personnel
• Enforce HSE policies; lead safety meetings and risk assessments
• Oversee equipment utilization; troubleshoot operational issues
• Manage shift schedules, training, and on-site conflict resolution

Key Requirements

• B.Sc. in Engineering or relevant field
• 8+ years drilling experience, 3-5 years in a supervisory/Toolpusher role
• IWCF/Well Control Certification
• Valid HSE and safety certifications
• Strong understanding of drilling fluids, downhole tools, well control, rig equipment
