Job Description
We are seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join our microfinance team. The ideal candidate will assess and manage credit risks, ensuring the organization maintains a healthy loan portfolio. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in credit assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate credit applications and assess the financial health of borrowers.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations for loan approvals.
- Monitor and review existing credit portfolios to identify potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve risk management strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis within the financial sector.
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
