A reputable pharmaceutical company in Ilorin, Kwara, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chemist to join its quality control and analysis team. This role involves working with advanced analytical equipment to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV-VIS spectrophotometers, and flame photometers.
- Document and report laboratory findings in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of quality systems.
Requirements:
- B.Sc or HND in Pure Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Operational knowledge of analytical equipment such as HPLC, UV-VIS, and flame photometers.
- Proficiency in computer usage and documentation.
