Quality Control Superintendent
Job Description
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited is seeking a qualified Quality Control Superintendent to lead and manage its quality control operations within a busy plastic manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring that all products comply with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality benchmarks. The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of plastic processing methods such as injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all quality control activities including raw material inspections, in-process checks, and final product audits
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards
- Develop and maintain quality system documentation such as SOPs, control plans, and audit reports
- Lead problem-solving efforts, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to improve product quality and reduce waste
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a quality control role within the plastics manufacturing industry
- In-depth knowledge of plastic processing methods (e.g., injection molding, extrusion)
- Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, and control charts
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949, ERP systems, and quality management software
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
