Job Description

Ascentech Services Limited is hiring an experienced Oracle Developer to design, build, and maintain efficient database systems. The role involves developing PL/SQL programs, optimizing performance, and ensuring smooth database operations that support business-critical applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
  • Optimize SQL queries and perform database performance tuning to enhance application speed and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and relationships to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with software applications.
  • Manage database security, backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Troubleshoot database issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and SQL optimization.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database versions 11g and 12c.
  • Knowledge of database normalization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, or APEX is a plus.
  • Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer Certification (OCA/OCP) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
