Job Description
Smartflow Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive sales growth and expand its presence within the oil and gas sector. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge, an existing client network, and the ability to build lasting business relationships across Northern Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and achieve assigned sales volume and revenue targets in line with the company’s business plan
- Identify, generate, and close new business opportunities by engaging prospects, presenting solutions, and negotiating deals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term business growth
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management
- Create and send proposals, quotations, and other sales-related documentation to clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align sales strategies and ensure effective service delivery
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor product availability, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and generate leads
- Engage stakeholders within the oil and gas sector and support occupational health and safety initiatives when required
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in any discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven sales experience within the oil and gas sector
- Existing customer base within the relevant industry is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel across Northern Nigeria (approximately 40%)
- Strong knowledge of the Northern Nigerian market
- Abuja residency is mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
