Job Description

Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a Lead, Quality Assurance to drive quality strategy, execution, and culture across engineering teams. This senior leadership role is ideal for an experienced Quality Engineering professional with a strong technical background and a proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing QA teams in fast-paced technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the QA function across multiple engineering teams, defining quality standards, frameworks, and scalable strategies
  • Mentor and manage QA Analysts and Engineers, supporting career growth through structured feedback and coaching
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, including manual, automated, regression, performance, and exploratory testing
  • Develop dashboards and quality metrics to track performance indicators such as test coverage, defect leakage, regression rates, and overall product health
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to review requirements, technical documentation, and code to ensure quality from design to deployment
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA tools, processes, and team dynamics
  • Promote a strong quality-first culture across engineering, product, and business teams
  • Translate test data into actionable insights that improve team performance and system reliability

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Quality Engineering, including 4–5 years leading engineering or QA teams
  • Strong background as a QA Analyst or QA Engineer with hands-on technical experience
  • Proficiency in Java programming with a focus on automation and tooling
  • Experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile native, and web applications
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and cloud infrastructure such as GCP and Docker
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and pub-sub technologies
  • Hands-on experience in non-functional testing including performance, security, monitoring, and alerting
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness
  • Understanding of AI/ML-based test generation or test impact analysis
  • Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Proven ability to design QA frameworks, define KPIs, and build performance dashboards
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and performance management skills
  • Ability to mentor, recruit, and scale engineering talent within a collaborative environment
