Job Description

ProSidian is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support Independent Engineering Advisory Services for projects associated with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO). This role focuses on quality assurance governance, technical due diligence, compliance oversight, construction monitoring, risk management, and quality control processes for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across the United States.

Location: Washington, DC, USA (Remote within the United States with occasional onsite meetings)

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures, review protocols, and compliance frameworks.
  • Conduct independent technical reviews and oversee quality governance activities for energy infrastructure projects.
  • Manage document control processes, certification packages, nonconformance tracking, and corrective action programs.
  • Review project documentation, identify risks, evaluate mitigation strategies, and validate technical assumptions.
  • Prepare quality assurance plans, audit reports, peer review documentation, quality checklists, and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, legal, finance, environmental, and project management stakeholders.
  • Support technical due diligence, credit evaluations, construction monitoring, and project lifecycle assessments.
  • Monitor project quality standards and ensure adherence to contractual, regulatory, and industry requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk management, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory services.
  • Experience supporting large-scale oil and gas, power generation, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, independent engineering reviews, technical due diligence, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Experience with document control, quality governance, compliance reporting, and construction monitoring.
  • Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, stakeholder management, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CQA, CIA, ISO Lead Auditor, CHMM, CSP, or PMI-RMP are considered an advantage.
