Job Description

A Customer Service Representative is needed to support customer interactions within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. This role focuses on delivering excellent service, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring a smooth customer experience across multiple touchpoints. The ideal candidate should be proactive, solution-driven, and committed to maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person channels in a timely and professional manner
  • Handle complaints, troubleshoot service issues, and provide effective resolutions
  • Provide accurate information on products, services, pricing, and ongoing promotions
  • Assist customers with service activation, subscriptions, and account-related requests
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate departments when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved and satisfaction is achieved
  • Build strong customer relationships to support retention and loyalty
  • Stay updated on telecom products, company policies, and industry trends

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in customer service, preferably within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer requests efficiently
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage
