Job Description

A Procurement Officer is required to manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier management, and compliance with quality, safety, and organizational standards within a commercial real estate environment. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and efficient supply chain operations to support smooth business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors while ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms to achieve cost efficiency and value for money
  • Manage procurement of goods and services including operational supplies, ensuring timely delivery and order accuracy
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery timelines, quality standards, and contract compliance
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, food safety standards, hygiene, and internal policies where applicable
  • Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor performance reports
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams to resolve supply chain issues and prevent operational disruptions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and cost analysis
  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, or corporate procurement environment is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and virtual communication tools
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with procurement software and reporting tools is an advantage
