Job Description

An HR Officer (Talent Management and Compensation) role at SIMS Nigeria Limited involves supporting the implementation of talent management, performance management, and compensation & benefits strategies across the organization. The role requires close collaboration with business leaders and employees to drive effective HR processes, improve employee experience, and ensure data-driven decision-making in line with organizational policies.

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, and appraisal cycles
  • Assist in talent development initiatives such as succession planning, learning and development programs, and employee engagement activities
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration including payroll support, benefits coordination, and salary benchmarking
  • Maintain and analyze HR data and generate reports to support HR and management decision-making
  • Support job evaluation processes, grading structures, and compensation framework reviews
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Requirements / Qualifications

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • CIPM certification will be an added advantage
  • 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, with exposure to talent management and/or compensation & benefits
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in HR data management and reporting tools
