Job Description
Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a Lead, Quality Assurance to oversee quality strategy, testing operations, and QA team leadership across multiple engineering teams. This role is ideal for an experienced Quality Engineering professional with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for building reliable, user-focused products in a fast-paced technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the Quality Assurance function across multiple engineering teams while driving quality standards, frameworks, and testing strategies.
- Mentor and manage QA Analysts and Engineers through coaching, performance management, and career development initiatives.
- Design and implement manual and automated testing strategies, including regression, exploratory, performance, and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering leaders to ensure products meet quality and reliability standards before release.
- Build and manage QA dashboards and metrics to monitor test coverage, regression rates, defect leakage, and overall product quality.
- Improve QA processes, tools, and workflows to support continuous delivery and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the QA team maintains a strong understanding of product functionality and user experience expectations.
- Support quality culture initiatives by working closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, including 4–5 years leading and managing engineering or QA teams.
- Previous hands-on experience as a QA Analyst or QA Engineer with strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Strong programming skills in Java with experience in automation tooling and test frameworks.
- Experience testing APIs, microservices, web platforms, and mobile applications.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments, Docker, and cloud infrastructure such as GCP.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and pub-sub technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.
- Familiarity with performance testing, security testing, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor teams, improve collaboration, and drive continuous learning initiatives.
