Job Description

Homik Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Structural Engineer to support the delivery of major oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will lead and execute civil and structural engineering activities across Conceptual Studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) phases. This role requires extensive experience in structural analysis, foundation design, brownfield modifications, multidisciplinary coordination, and compliance with international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of civil and structural engineering deliverables for Conceptual, FEED, and Detailed Design projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, wellhead platforms, process facilities, equipment foundations, buildings, substations, and utility structures.
• Develop structural design criteria, design philosophies, technical specifications, basis of design documents, and engineering calculations.
• Conduct structural integrity assessments, fitness-for-service evaluations, and foundation design studies.
• Review geotechnical reports and establish suitable foundation design requirements.
• Participate in feasibility studies, conceptual development, facility layout optimization, and engineering solution evaluations.
• Produce and review structural drawings, foundation layouts, material take-offs, technical requisitions, and scope of work documents.
• Coordinate engineering activities with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and HSE teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Lead design reviews, constructability reviews, technical workshops, and client interface meetings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
• Professional registration with COREN, NSE, or an equivalent engineering body.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in Conceptual Studies, FEED, and Detailed Engineering Design projects.
• Experience working on both greenfield and brownfield developments.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, foundation design, and offshore/onshore facility engineering.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, STAAD Foundation Advanced, AutoCAD, Autodesk Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, technical documentation, and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination abilities.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary EPC or EPCIC project environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
