Senior HR Manager at African Industries Group (AIG)

African Industries Group (AIG) is recruiting an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead strategic human resource operations for its manufacturing business in Kaduna. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR leader with strong expertise in industrial relations, employee engagement, talent management, and HR compliance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all human resources operations for the business unit.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Manage industrial relations, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee retention initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, learning and development, and organizational development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial relations, labour laws, collective bargaining, and employee engagement.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
