Job Description

Fort Knox Outsourcing is recruiting an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain backend systems, and ensure seamless integration across business applications. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, backend development experience, and knowledge of database management and system integrations.

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: 6 Days Onsite
Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for business applications and internal systems
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application-related issues promptly
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
  • Build and support backend services using Python or .NET (C#)
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs for system communication and integrations
  • Support integrations across ERP systems, POS platforms, and third-party applications
  • Ensure data consistency, synchronization, and system reliability across platforms
  • Document incidents, technical issues, and resolutions accurately within the service desk system
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve application performance and user experience

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in Application Support, Backend Development, or a related role
  • Proficiency in Python or .NET/C#
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and integrations
  • Basic understanding of Azure services and cloud-based integrations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as D365 or Odoo is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and documentation abilities
  • Interested candidates should be able to work onsite in Lagos six days a week
