Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Business Development Executive with a strong background in Nigeria’s Oil and Gas industry. The role is suited for a results-oriented professional with proven expertise in business development, client acquisition, tender management, and contract administration within the upstream and downstream sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing strategic client relationships, and coordinating successful bids for major energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with International Oil Companies (IOCs), marginal field operators, EPC companies, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage the complete tendering process, including monitoring opportunities, preparing bid documents, and submitting technical and commercial proposals through the NIPEX portal.
  • Prepare high-quality business proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), pre-qualification documents, and other commercial documentation that meet client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement teams, contract committees, and key decision-makers across the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close high-value business deals.
  • Administer contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and post-award contract variations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all bidding activities comply with NCDMB regulations and Nigerian Oil and Gas industry standards.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business expansion and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Female candidate.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of proven business development experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of NIPEX, NJQS, EPC tendering processes, and Nigerian upstream contracting regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing technical and commercial bid documents.
  • Excellent proposal writing, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict tender submission deadlines.
  • Executive-level professionalism with strong commercial acumen.
Salary

N500,000 – N650,000 per month
