A reputable Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships within the healthcare insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HMO or health insurance business development and the ability to achieve revenue targets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement business development strategies to secure new individual, corporate, and institutional clients.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the organization’s customer base and market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, corporate organizations, and strategic partners.
• Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding assigned sales and business development targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored healthcare plans that meet client needs and business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Generate accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance updates for management.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through effective relationship management.
• Represent the organization at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
• A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of proven business development, sales, or marketing experience within an HMO or health insurance organization.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian healthcare insurance industry and NHIA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.
