Job Description

Domeo Resources International is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee the organization’s financial management, reporting, budgeting, treasury, compliance, and internal control functions. The successful candidate will provide financial leadership, ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen governance processes, and support business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow to support business operations and long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.
  • Drive cost control initiatives, monitor operational expenses, and provide profitability analysis to improve financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory remittances, financial policies, and internal control procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits while resolving audit findings and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Provide financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and risk management support to senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.
  • At least 5 years of senior finance leadership experience within a reputable luxury hotel, hospitality organization, or internationally branded hotel.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is required. Additional certifications such as CMA or CITN are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, tax compliance, cost control, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in hotel accounting systems such as Opera PMS, IDS Next, Sage, SAP, or SunSystems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and strategic decision-making abilities.
