Job Description

Gate84 is hiring a skilled Frontend Developer to build and maintain modern web applications. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products.

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N300,000 – N400,000 monthly

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable web applications using React.js
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, managing asynchronous data, loading states, and error handling
  • Build and maintain a reusable UI component library for consistency and efficiency
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate requirements into functional applications
  • Identify and fix performance bottlenecks to ensure smooth user experiences
  • Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure reliability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with React.js and Next.js
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux or MobX
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control and agile development
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code
