Job Description

A reputable consulting firm is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Head of Digital Marketing to lead its digital growth across Africa. This role is suited for a senior professional with a strong background in building digital ecosystems, driving B2B lead generation, and translating marketing efforts into measurable revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate will oversee the full digital strategy, from brand positioning to performance marketing, while leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business and revenue goals
  • Lead content, social media, SEO, email, and paid media initiatives to drive brand visibility and engagement
  • Build and optimize B2B lead generation funnels from awareness through to conversion
  • Manage and improve CRM-integrated marketing campaigns and lead pipelines
  • Oversee and execute paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, and Meta
  • Strengthen brand authority through thought leadership content including articles, case studies, and videos
  • Improve website performance, user experience, and conversion rates
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a digital marketing team across content, social media, and growth functions
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics including traffic, leads, ROI, and conversion rates
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing performance and strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5–6 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation and content-driven marketing strategies
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, CRM tools (such as HubSpot or Salesforce), Google Analytics, and paid advertising
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing digital marketing teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with focus on revenue growth and measurable outcomes
  • Excellent strategic thinking, execution, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly analytical, innovative, and results-driven
