Job Description

Beta Glass Plc is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to oversee and support its IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, security systems, and cloud-based services. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s technology environment while providing technical support across business units.

Location: Agbara, Ogun

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and upgrade IT hardware, servers, operating systems, and enterprise networks (LAN/WAN).
• Monitor network performance and ensure continuous availability of enterprise systems, fire systems, and access control solutions.
• Administer Microsoft 365 accounts, permissions, cloud storage, and related services.
• Maintain and support Microsoft Dynamics NAV and other enterprise applications.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and support database-related operations.
• Deploy and manage cybersecurity solutions, including BitLocker, VPNs, identity agents, and antivirus software.
• Monitor security events, review system logs, conduct vulnerability scans, and respond to potential threats.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes.
• Provide backend technical support to business units, Helpdesk teams, and other IT personnel.
• Resolve ServiceDesk (Jira) tickets and provide both remote and on-site technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, workstation operating systems, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Microsoft Certified Professional certification (Associate, Expert, or related certification).
• Advanced experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, Single Sign-On (SSO), AD Certificate Services, and Windows management services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration and enterprise application support.
• Professional certifications such as Linux Certified Administrator, CompTIA, ITIL, or CCNA will be an added advantage.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar IT Administrator role.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
