Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Verify that software releases meet business and technical requirements before deployment.
- Participate in test planning, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques; experience with test automation is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
