Job Description

Octragon is hiring an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and drive business operations, lead teams, and ensure efficient execution of operational activities. The role is based in Magodo, Lagos, with field operations as required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day business operations and ensure smooth execution of operational activities.
  • Lead, coordinate, and manage teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective operational processes, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and service delivery, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Support human resources management and contribute to effective workforce planning and employee performance.
  • Coordinate field operations and ensure activities are completed efficiently and within established standards.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide management with relevant updates and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable operational requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable and verifiable experience in operations management or a related role.
  • Strong expertise in human resources management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple operational activities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Valid driver’s license required. Applicants without a valid license may have the license processed at their cost.
  • Ability to work from the Magodo, Lagos office and undertake field operations when required.
  • Age requirement: 35–45 years.
  • Must be available for immediate employment.
  • Official vehicle provided for the role.
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦750,000 monthly, depending on experience.
  • Salary is subject to applicable tax and HMO deductions.
  • Bonus may be available based on performance and applicable terms.
  • Official vehicle provided.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Location: Magodo, Lagos, with field operations as applicable.
