Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified Packing Chief in-charge to oversee pharmaceutical packaging operations and ensure products are packaged safely, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will supervise packaging activities, maintain quality and GMP compliance, manage packaging teams, and support the timely delivery of production targets while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily packaging operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other regulatory requirements.
• Supervise packaging personnel, allocate tasks effectively, and provide training to improve performance and compliance.
• Monitor packaging equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance, and minimize production downtime.
• Review packaging documentation, batch records, and material reconciliation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain workplace safety, hygiene, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging processes, GMP, GDP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and production documentation systems.
