erpSoftapp is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Accountant to support the implementation of accounting records and financial processes onto an accounting system. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate and verify financial records to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate should be capable of reviewing financial documents, analyzing company trading activities, and working collaboratively with a team of accountants to achieve accurate financial implementation and reporting.

Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦350,000 Monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Implement accounting records and financial data onto accounting systems.
• Review and analyze Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statements, General Ledger, and Aged Debtors reports.
• Verify and maintain accurate chart of accounts and financial records.
• Assess company trading activities to establish accurate financial positions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and standard accounting practices.
• Collaborate with and lead a team of accountants during project implementation.
• Identify discrepancies in financial records and provide appropriate resolutions.
• Support financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess:

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and reports.
• Knowledge of IFRS is mandatory.
• Experience working with accounting software and system implementation.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
