Job Description

ipNX Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Telecommunication Rigger to support the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of telecommunications equipment on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring antenna systems, feeder cables, and related infrastructure are installed safely and in line with industry standards to support network deployment and upgrade projects.

Salary: N300,000 Monthly

Job Responsibilities

• Climb telecommunications towers, rooftops, monopoles, and other elevated structures to install and maintain network equipment.
• Install antennas, remote radio units (RRUs), microwave dishes, feeder cables, mounts, and brackets.
• Perform rigging activities, including lifting, positioning, and securing equipment using appropriate rigging tools and gear.
• Conduct tower inspections and report structural defects, hazards, or safety concerns.
• Replace, repair, and maintain faulty telecommunications equipment, mounts, and cabling.
• Ensure proper grounding, weatherproofing, and cable management during installations.
• Follow approved rigging procedures, lift plans, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Complete installation reports, safety documentation, and site records accurately.
• Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and rigging equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to company, client, and regulatory health and safety standards.

Job Requirements

Interested candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• SSCE qualification or higher.
• Previous experience in telecommunications tower rigging or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure installation and maintenance practices.
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and the use of PPE.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow technical instructions.
